This comprehensive 162-page study looks at how satisfied students are with their college, and many individual facets and aspects of their college experience. Data is presented separately for overall satisfaction and for satisfaction with instructors in their major or intended major, with instructors overall, with the accessibility of instructors, cost of education, access to financial aid, campus food service, the library, the course registration process, the campus internet, athletic facilities, campus housing and more. Students also tell us whether they would choose the same college all over again and whether or not they would recommend their college to a friend.
Data in the report is presented in the aggregate and then broken out separately for sixteen different variables including but not limited to: college grades, gender, income level, year of college standing, SAT/ACT scores, regional origin, age, sexual orientation, race & ethnicity, college major and other personal variables, and by Carnegie class, enrollment size and public/private status of the survey participants institutions of higher education.
